Noticed that the Horus Heresy upgrade sets are all "last chance to buy" and they will be gone forever. What is going on? I hope they are not going to upscale the models. Though, I have to admit, I have stopped collecting as the prices direct and even ebay have gotten ridiculously high. |

Cheap tricks at FW……..ensure panic buying……bring them back as classics in 5 or more years and double the price…… |

Either they are being converted to plastic or they just dont sell. |

Well, this is the end of my brief 30k career. Looks like I might have a sizabLe Night Lords army for sale. |

They're pulling the torso sets, and Cataphractii & MkII shoulderpads claiming they're not selling, this means the upgrade bundles are going because they contain torsos – I imagine they'll release replacement bundles with just the pads and the helmets. The Cataphractii pads are a bit surprising but torsos and MkII pads make sense – almost nobody buys MkII pads because almost nobody buys MkII marines on accounts of them costing more that twice as much as the plastic MkIII & IV. Likewise look through any relevant group on Facebook and for every model you see with both legion pads and a torso you'll see another with just the pads (and another 2-3 with just transfers) – most people don't see the point in spending money on something you won't be able to see because the weapon the guy's holding. |

I've bought thousands of dollars of stuff for 30K and have never bought one set of the torsos. So it makes sense that others are doing the same. They are simply retiring product that isn't selling as well to put out more product that does. It is also possible that no one is buying the bundles because it makes so much more financial sense to buy the big boxed sets and then buy the shoulder pads separately. That is what I've always done. I have six of the big Horus Heresy boxed games. I've only ever bought one of the sets of plastics a la carte. No reason to come up with crazy price gouging conspiracies. As 3rd Foot and Mouth and haywire pointed out, it is probably just a pretty standard business decision. No need to make a youtube video rage-burning your 30K army yet. |

Not cheap tricks. Forgeworld doesn't sell classic models for a limited time at high prices like GW does. Get your facts straight, kneejerk GW haters. They sell models at high prices ALL of the time. |

They sell models at high prices ALL of the time. Hard to argue with that … |

Their prices are high but they aren't out of line with other high end producers for a lot of their figures. |

Also they're doing Lord of the Rings, Necromunda and Bloodbowl stuff now as well so they need to cut the number of lines back. Need the space to store two or three sets of upgrade arms for each Necromunda gang. Mark II don't sell as there aren't plastic mark II armours. |

All the generic legion infantry upgrades and weapons are either on "last chance to buy" or soon will be. MKII armor is being axed entirely (including the command and assault packs), and I doubt the other resin power armor and terminator kits will stick around as all their bolters and basic weapon sets are now "last chance". |

With the MKIII and IV and cataphractii and Tartaros all in plastic I would imagine that non-specialized terminators sales are almost zero from Forge World. |
