Perrys call it just a "smattering", but some clever work gone into these. I am especially glad to see the Gardes d'Honneur heads to go onto the plastic hussars. Note also the alternative style shako for the earlier look hussars. Then the Portuguese cacadores and even a telegraph…….. that is clever. Finally the Danish 6pdr of course. Impressive work.

Nice pieces as usual!. I posted this Q in the Napoleonic Wargamer Facebook group but will add here too: 'Telegraph station'. How were these used to communicate – was it just something like "raise it when it's time to attack"? Or was there more to it? |

Hello Markconz, it was a simple system , with six numbered positions 'around the clock' but combined with a code book of phrases it could convey a huge amount of information. |
