Our local gamers have ridden with the column more per General Pettygree's 8 April 2018 remarks here on TMP. So did numerous readers of that report. Bravo!

One of several ways to do this is to have an Annual Birthday Game Day described by the General here:

*****
It commences with Winston reporting to General Pettygree. We hope some of the ideas work for you to get out and Ride With The Column more --- to actually be with gaming friends throwing dice and moving units.

Also explained is using pre-game day aerial recon photos of the gaming table with information and orders actually on same. Advantages in time consumption on game day are prodigious. This vitally helps getting in more turns.
