Wasn't someone coming out with a GoT minis game complete with Stak and Lannister armies? Whatever became of that? Are we waiting for George Ahrrr Martin to write the rules?

I assume that you are talking about the CMON KS?

It was due last month, but as usual it's a little late grin

Yes, that's it.

No bonus figure of George R.R. Martin chained to his writing desk?

I don't see a Jon Snow figure.

Jon Snow is at the Wall.

Jon Snow died.
Haha, just kidding, no he didn't.

Its in the works. I grabbed the kickstarter but mostly for the figures (even though they are oversized).

Have read rules and seen a game played on video. Not my style but if you like the dueling super card powers stuff it may be OK – designed for competitive play not to give the feel of a medieval battle (as the book battles and even tV version do a decent job of).

Most of the figures look good – some howlers Stark "longbowmen" had recurves when pointed out instead of fixing just renamed "bowmen". Armor a bit spiky on some but overall good medieval feel (much like books).

Company is local to Atlanta and had made contact with local game store for playtesters but never followed up so I assume whatever play testing is actually occuring is all inhouse.

I expect to see my copy soon and will find some use for the figures (already pondering how to adapt Knights and Knaves rules to "big base" style).
