I really like your project and been following your reports. Have you settled on how best to handle your house rules suggestions? |

Thanks Barcah & Mr M, appreciate it. @Barcah – the position with the house rules is: I have used my suggested changes for firing. Otherwise it was really tricky for shot-heavy infantry to ever defeat mixed infantry. I haven't changed the charge modifiers for Horse. Instead, I have just become happy with the idea that the Royalist / Fairfaxian / Swedish "Charge" ability is one to be used sparingly, in the right (or desperate) circumstances. Otherwise both sides Horse fight exactly the same. I haven't changed the morale rules yet. This is only because I don't want to fiddle around too much in the middle of the campaign: I will look at this again in the future. This also applies to the terrain rules. All the best |
