Did French guns sport camouflage schemes, as per these pictures? The Google image searches I've undertaken seem to suggest otherwise, but I do like the idea of adding some colour to my early war force:

My Googling of ‘real' images, i.e. not models or colour profiles, gives a mix of results. Some guns clearly are camouflage painted whilst others are not. Consequently I'd go with whatever you feel like painting. |

Field guns were definitely painted in camouflage schemes in WW1 later in the war. I don't know about WW2 at all. Robert |

Most photos I have seen show them in plain colours but I have seen a few 75mm in dappled camo schemes |

I've seen both here and there from various sources in WWI and WWII. Regardless those models are very nicely done. |

vary greatly … the guns were basically painted in some kind of olive green . but, some units painted their guns in various camo … so … |
