Vol. 2 -- link But you are almost better off buying the hard-bound edition than the Kindle edition. This must be a "suck them in with an extremely inexpensive first volume and then slam them with an overpriced second edition."

The two books I really would recommend. Snag with Kindle is that you really do need to see his maps, unless you know every nook and cranny of Southern Belgium…….and he is good at providing maps!

$1.99 USD is a small investment to see if the hardbounds are worth it. I have been on the fence so for me it is a great deal. Kindle has a lot of good deals on some history books this month. And my interest in the 2nd book will be predicated on how I like the first…
