Hello again all, I finally built the Black Earth 6mm UEF Hulk Suits and whilst I was at it decided to convert 4 of them. I must say these minis assemble very nicely & can be converted easily enough. Both their shape & detail is very good with almost non existing flash or mould lines. As I said before they would make great 15mm Power Armour or small mecha. There are 2 fiddly parts , the rocket launcher & the ammo belt. The rocket launcher has a small spigot which should be inserted in the shoulder notch. For the love of me I could not fit the ammo belts in place, so after a lot of trials I decided to fit 2 mm strips of flat cable . For some reason they remind me of Hussars ,Imagine having a company of these charging enemy lines … charge of the metal brigade ??!! I must get more …. Thanks for your comments. I like those. Very keen. And the flat cable was an inspired idea. |

Very nice models. Looks like they will be of use in 15mm, too. |

Thanks all, Dentatus flat IDE Hd cable is very versatile, see my other post castrarunis.blogspot.com.mt/2014/02/trackstracks-more-tracks-need-tracks.html Hello again all started to paint the Blackearth 6mm suits for 15mm. Still a wip. Grey primer, dark brown wash, dry brushing with 3 different shades of grey. Then shading with watered down light grey. Detail & edging in white. Nice minis to paint with loads of detail. Can imagine what the 15mm version will be like when it ships from their KS plus there's a heavier version also. I saw the 3D prints and they look impressive. I'm thinking about using them for my SDZ faction ( Sons & Daughters of Zion ) I have some 15mm IDF decals that will fit the bill perfectly. More will follow. Thanks for your comments Z castrarunis.blogspot.com.mt/2018/05/black-earth-6mm-uef-hulk-suits.html

I've changed my mind they are great for AEWW2 eg. to play Konflict 47.Here they are next to Clockwork Goblin US light walker & German power armour & Psc 15mm Germans. They look great … I posted pics on the same link above Does anyone know where I can find a couple of Clockwork Goblin Bazooka & Panzer Schreck Power armour teams, please ? Thanks for your comments Z

Another thing, Some of their ork like brutes have Ww2 british helmets & lee enfields so they would be great as AEWw2 british hybrid ogres ( i'll call them Big Bullies). Am thinking about Konflikt 47 in 15mm. Z |
