Hi Fabio,

Two things. First, it is considered a bit rude to advertise your own business on TMP when you only have a free membership. Members here expect that if you have a commercial business you want to make money from, you should "invest" in a paid membership here. It helps keep TMP going. Not a big deal … just wanted to let you know that as a general rule, that is the expectation.

Second, I have backed a lot of printable STL campaigns for tabletop terrain, and while I like the trees and LOVE the rocks and cliffs, I found it too expensive.

If it had been €10.00 EUR for each, or €25.00 EUR for the full bundle, I would likely have gone all-in. Don't care for the ruins, but would want the bonus cliffs. But at €20.00 EUR for each, and only really liking the rocks, I was unwilling to back at that price for 5 rock formations.

And I understand, these are artistic creations, and you can certainly charge whatever you wish. I am simply providing some feedback for you. Might explain why your campaign is struggling to get backers.

Hello thanks for your advice, sorry I'm new to this world, I was awkward!could you tell me where is the section to become paid membership? I got lost…

as it is my first campaign, i don't know how to move with STL files prices.

I'm considering re-launching it with revised pledge

Thanks again

No worries Fabio. I could tell you were new here. And it's not like there is a nice banner page that says "If you want to advertise here, that is great, but please be a supporting member".

As for how to become a supporting member, good question. Since I am one, I don't see a link that asks me to become one.

I "think" on the home page, you can click on your membership, and once there it might have a link to become a paid member. Anyone who has a block that says TMP with three stars after their name in a post (like mine) is a paid member. Or right under your name on the home page, there might be a link that says "Become a supporter". Like I said, since I am one I don't remember how to get there to become one.

You can get one for a month, or two months, or whatever, including a year or more. Price is reasonable, and it helps keep the site up and running, and the servers running smoothly.

Once you launch a kickstarter, you cannot adjust any of the packages you offered on go-live date. You CAN add new ones. I saw a campaign start at higher prices, then a week into it, they added several new packages, at reduced prices. So people could drop one pledge and go to another.

But sometimes, a relaunch is better. No confusing multiple pledges at different amounts for the same thing. And you start the clock over again.

Good luck!

Well Fabio … I see you cancelled the first project, and started up a new one, using the pricing I suggested. That absolutely requires that I back your campaign!

Good luck with the new campaign. I hope the lower price entices others to join in the fun.

Hi Steve, I've just subscribed TMP for six months , thanks StoneMtnMinis for the link. Truly a resourceful site … Thank you, thank you very much for your advice on reviewing prices. I canceled and re-launched the campaign with the prices suggested by you. I'm very glad you enjoyed my models. I'm already focusing on another project concerning WWII, see you soon and thanks again.

Glad I could help out Fabio. The new campaign is doing much better than the old one.
