Just saw this and thought it might be of interest.

Hard to imagine how bad Jack Nicholson would have been.

I need several 'units' of Indians for my Mohawk Valley Scenario. My figures are individually based.

I'm using Fife and Drum Miniatures for my British / Americans.

Which Brand / Range of Indians would 'you' recommend for use with the above – ?

Not looking for an exact match: just a good fit (size / height / girth, etc.).

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Of the variety of figures I have on hand, I'ld say Old Glory Indians give the closest general match.

If you can get the earlier packs from the Redoubt range, they had the "tall and skinny" look that will most closely match the F&D products. I think Redoubt changed sculptors when the Indians were finished and they started the rangers and militia.

I have a mix of indians from Perry´s American War of Independence and the Woodland Indians of Conquest. I am not sure if the last company is still existing.

On the same bases and similiarly painted I yet cannot regognized any more which are which.

I Like both lines very much.

RSM has a small range of Indians that fit in perfectly with Fife and Drum.

The Redoubt Indians I have are heftier than F&D, maybe it depends on code number if some might be a better fit.

Was just able to check some of my figures. The Redoubt Indians are a smidge taller than the OG, but the heft and heads are a pretty good match.

Conquest and Perry get my vote, I have about 80 figs from those two and they are my favorite.

RSM are nearly identical in size and heft as the Fife & Drum figures. My next choice in the size category would be Conquest followed by Perry. I think all three brands would work

Thanks for the additional info.

I think the Conquest Indians are now made by Warlord (they definitely took on somebody's production).

Crusader do some, as well.
