"Minuteman Miniatures will be at Little Wars!" Topic

Hey all!

Just wanted to mention to everyone that Minuteman Miniatures will be in Chicago for Little Wars!

So if you are interested in tanks, or interested in miniatures of YOU, we'll be there, ready to scan.

We will also be taking the first orders for our next wave, The Dark Ages! This line is three figures; a Viking warlord, a Scottish warlord, and a mounted Norman lord, all ideal for whatever Dark Ages game you might play!

Just to whet your appetite, I included the Viking warlord and the Scot leader models… you'll just have to wait for the Norman:)

For those customers who have already gotten scanned, we will start taking orders for The Dark Ages once we've gotten our Little Wars orders all finished up; we will send out an email to let you know when that is.

Of course, these guys join our original roster of a French Napoleonic colonel, a WWII Waffen SS officer, a WWII American infantry officer, a fantasy/steampunk human warrior, a Greek general, and a Roman general.

So please come on by and say hi, sit for a free scan, and maybe pick up a few miniatures of you!

Oh, and if you ALREADY got your model from Cold Wars, you still have about a week to submit your painted YOU on our Facebook page to win ALL THREE models in the next wave, for FREE! So far only ONE person has submitted, so those odds are looking really, really good!:) We MAY extend the deadline a bit, because we know some Cold War orders were SUPER slow getting out, so no fears if you aren't sure if you will be painted up by then; we will make sure everyone has the chance to enter.

Will you be printing tanks on demand as well?

So, last time things did NOT work out, in terms of getting the orders printed at the show, even thought that was our intent … we got so many orders and then ran into issues with the printer, and ended up not being able to do much on-site. Because of this, and other issues, we won't actually be bringing the printer to Little Wars; shipping is very, very expensive, and if something happened to the printer, that would be a bit of a disaster. So we will be doing all the printing and shipping it to you post-show.

That said, yes, we are printing on demand in that, let's say you really wanted that single tank that you cannot get elsewhere? Well, you demand it, and we will print it… one or a hundred of them! I've seen a few tanks over the last month I never even knew existed… what is that huge German train-looking tank that they wanted to bomb Stalingrad or whatever?

That works. What are your prices? I couldn't find them on the website.

Tanks in 15mm are generally between $6 USD and $7.50 USD, although some of the bigger ones (like the E-100 or whathaveyou) are a bit more.

That said, the more tanks you order, the less they cost.

Larger scale ones (28mm) are usually between $25 USD and $30. USD

BTW, we had this tank order recently… a couple of interesting ones in there!

So 20mm around $7 USD to $9 USD? Excellent, I'll be sure to stop by and place an order.
