What are you looking for? I may have some. I have some decal sets that are not listed on our web page.

Are all the decals from Aleran 1/72 to 1/76? Most of them don't list a scale.

Dom's Decals, are for 15mm but work just fine for 20mm.

TMP advertiser Fidelis Models sells decals for HO scale vehicles many of which work for similar scales like 15mm to 20mm.

Lucius: if you go to the store link the selection marked 'Decals' are 1/72.

The other selection as shown is for 28mm.

A few more:

I-94 Enterprises
i-94enterprises.com

Archer
archertransfers.com

Archer are nice because they are dry transfer so give very good painted on look. They also have instructions on how to use them as wet apply.

Are decals basically all the same or are some makes easier to use and give a better presentation than others?

Most modern decals are pretty good these days, solvents like Microsol make life a lot easier. In addition to those above PSC have quite a range too.

Do gamers generally put decals on trucks?

LeonAdler Sponsoring Member of TMP19 Jun 2018 8:39 a.m. PST

You'll have to define gamers lol
There are modellers that game a bit and then there are those for whom the game is the only thing that matters. Many, many in between. Personally if it didnt have the 'proper' markings wouldnt let it on the table……..yeah your right I dont have many mates lol

Well the reason I am asking is if someone has limited space and wants to say use the same force of M3 Halftracks for Americans, British AND Russians, is it better to put decals on and make a statement or just leave them plain?

LeonAdler Sponsoring Member of TMP20 Jun 2018 1:23 a.m. PST

Im the wrong person to ask that question. I keep thing pretty small numbers wise therefore tend to go for the best 'finish' I can and so things are very specific.

is it better, on 1/76 vehicles, to use decals for 1/72 or 1/87 scale? I think I am looking at Peddinghaus which make 1/72 and 1/87 decals. And, how is Peddinghaus quality in general?

Does anyone know of a good set of American vehicle/Tank Serial number decals?

Blacky75013 Oct 2018 1:53 p.m. PST

Can't beat the ones Skytrex did IMHO, still available and do all sorts of goodies.

For US vehicles I find Archer are pretty good and Aleran very good
