IMPORTANT NEWS Heroics & Ros will be closing from Sunday May 7th until Monday June 4th. Any orders placed before we close on the 3rd will be dispatched while we are closed but no new orders will be taken until we reopen. I have some family matters which I need to be sort out and trying to do this and run Heroics & Ros will just not be possible. Rather than offer a poor service with long lead times I have chosen to close and get things sorted and then reopen with everything completed. With this in mind we have released 3 new ranges at Salute and they will be added to the web shop this week. To accompany last month's 8th Army we now have the LRDG and to provide some help to the Italians the Afrika Korps are also released. For those interested in cold war gaming we now have 2 Danish tanks and Danish infantry & support.

Very exciting looking new ranges. However, Can anyone who has one of the earlier new ranges such as the British paras tell us whether the new ranges of foot figures are the same height as figures from the old H & R WW2 infantry packs? eg are the old and new H & R foot figure ranges compatible? I ask because I would have to order from far away under a rough exchange rate, and sometimes when there is a new sculptor figure size can change noticeably. |

+1 Durban Gamer I also would be interested on info as to the relative sizes of the "old" sculpts and the new ones. One of the great things about the original H&R infantry is that they are to scale with 1/285 and 1/300 vehicles. Even GHQ infantry is a bit large, although I am able to compensate by grinding down the feet before mounting. (And of course Baccus and Adler are larger still). MH |

Clearly I have not kept myself up-to-date on the many new releases in the line! I expect to place an order soon, to get some materials prior to the shut-down. I've placed and received an order with them since they reopen. No problem with the email. Usually get a response the next day. |
