Hello All, For those who play these games using 15mm figures, do you scale down the movement/shooting measurements? What size table to you play on? Thank you |

When converting from 28 to 15 I would only ever reduce measuring if the table size was reduced. My experience is when reducing movement it does not make the game better in any way, in fact the opposite. It makes it worse as you have to spend more turns moving with less action. There are also games with scenarios that could be completely broken by changing the movement rules without adjusting the number of turns allowed or required. Just pick the figures you want and play the game. Mersey's rules are fun, enjoy. |

Just play them as written, it looks better in 15mm with ranges and such. |

I keep some 15mm precisely for cramped quarters and half-size tables. Wouldn't be worth fooling with otherwise. |

I agree, leave the distances unchanged. I think it even suggests that in the Dragon Rampant rule book (which actually has a lot of photos of 15mm figures in it). These are abstract games, the ground scale is not really connected to the scale of the figures. |

Yea, leave as is. Looks better IMHO. |

does a 3' x 3' map work ok? |

Let us know. I'm not sure. At first thought it sounds small but it may work fine. Perhaps using less points than the suggested standard, if needed. 24 is the typical amount if I recall correctly. It does really depend. If you build your army with a bunch of reduced figure count units it changes the dynamic. If the 3' wide becomes too short then perhaps reduce the starting deployment area, but try to just play it as written. It's simple fun and unless you have a hankering to tinker play it as is. |
