I doubt it.

The US has been very good about establishing deconfliction lines, and IIRC the Russians have been equally good about staying clear of them.

If WW3 happens I sure hope it's for something far more worthy than Syria.

Surely you can find some rag more reputable than a right-wing tabloid like "The Sun" for our CA topic of the day, Armand.

Humans are like that so may not be tomorrow the next day or in 50 years but my guess is it will.
Might not be until Skynet takes over.

Not sure that anyone is actually fighting "for" Syria. Going back at least as far as the 90s the fighting has been for chunks of territory and forward positioning. What happens to a country as a whole just doesn't seem to play in to concerns. Look at the eastern European countries and the middle east as examples.

A broad front strategy and D-Day style invasions are most likely a thing of the past. A WWIII will probably look a lot like what we have been living through for the past decade or two only with a little bit more intensity.

It will probably start over something in the South China Sea, the Balkans or perhaps even the Caribbean.

But why worry? As so many keep telling us, the Cold War has been over for decades!

Indeed. We want a far more reputable rag like the Huffington Post for our daily dose of WWIII scaremongering!!!!!

I read neither The Sun nor Huffington Post, but at least I don't believe the latter publishes "news" like these:

But they're all true!

The Sun and the Huffing-Puffing Post are the most reputable news we have left. That's why they are the "hot sheets" the MIBs now use.

It hasn't been the same since the Weekly World News merged with the Star. Now there was a rag we could really believe!
