There was a post a little while ago wondering if CF was still in business. Well, I spoke to Paul today and told him about the postings. He said he was sorry for any problems anyone encountered over the last year as he has been dealing with employment issues and supplier issues.

He did tell me that the lines are still available and if anyone has had an issue with orders to contact him via his email and he will make it right.

I met Paul many years ago when I was Presidnet of GAMA and more involved with atteding shows and I have always found him to be a square shooter.

Known Paul for years online, way back in the days of the AOL forums. I agree, straight shooter. And his simple miniatures rules for various cheap plastic figures ("Cowboys-n-Indians" and "Sizzlin' Starships" come to mind) are good intros for kids to miniatures gaming, if he still offers them.

Ok, a bit of a rollercoaster ride.
After my order was placed I received a notice that my order shipped. Square( the host sucks). My package never arrived.
After a bit of back n forth, Team Frogs owner sent me a second package, including a handful of extras to make up for the delay. Package arrived today and I'm well satisfied.

I've emailed Paul 3 times, sent him a Facebook message, a direct message on Twitter and 2 tweets, no response. The FB and Twitter messages haven't even been read. I'm really unhappy with this…

So I didn't want to do this, but ed has given me no alternative.

He made an order, the first one was lost.

He contacted me.

I sent him another set. The same day I sent the package, he registered a complaint with Square. He told me once the post office had it in hand and it was on it's way he would withdraw the complaint. He did not.

The package got lost temporarily in the mail, only this time it was delivered, the same day Square refunded his money to him.

He promised to pay it back, and told me in a text that "one thing I don't do is lie or steal" and I believe him.

However, I sent him the link so he can pay for the figures (and bonus stuff I sent) and he has been ignoring me ever since. He got what he wanted *and* the figures, and now is not replying to texts, emails, and not answering the phone. Ed wanted his figures, and he got them.

Is it so wrong to want to be paid for them?

I will also add: for all the trouble and delay he had, I added a lot of extra stuff because I hate when packages get lost. I know how it feels when things go missing, so I didn't want him upset with us.

That apparently was not good enough for him.

Ok well now. Isn't it ironic that someone who took so long to even respond to my initial contacts suddenly gets his panties in a bunch over not receiving immediate responses.
First order supposedly sent. Nothing received. No receipts for the package he says he sent. I took him at his word. Got a lot of excuses for delays in shipping the second package. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and did not make a stink about it. I filed a dispute fifteen or so days prior to his receiving notification of my dispute. When he messaged me about it I clarified that to him. That I took reasonable action to protect my investment. I also clearly stated that I would resend payment once I saw my refund on my credit card. I have not seen the refund yet, although I have not checked it in the last days or so. His latest contacts were at inconvenient times to me as I've been very busy. But does he extend the same courtesy towards me that I gave him? No. He comes on here to defame my name in public.
As for the lost second package, it seemed to have fallen off the truck and I had to file a Find Mail order and even talked in person to a manager about it. Not Paul's fault in that, and I never acted as if it were.
The best bet is to send packages in Flat Rate boxes and save receipts when you ship an item. That way when a customer contacts you looking for a package, you can easily show them the details. Or better yet- email the tracking number as soon as you send it.
This from a guy who has a pile of angry customers for non-delivery of purchased items.
As for the freebies- they were neat- two 15mm squads of critters(one completely broken off its base, and four 28mm rabbit commandos. Not gonna dispute that. I thanked you graciously for them.

Paul- if you were so concerned about your customers, explain why the above members have needed to come here asking for help. I sent you the info from Chris days ago. You only respond now because you needed to come here and try and throw my name under the bus. That's why. There is also the failed deliveries to several other well-known members of the gaming community. Maybe you should contact them as well.
As I said before, I'll happily re-send the payment as soon as the refund clears my credit card. I'm waiting, as I told you in text message, so that there's no confusion, mainly with my credit card.
I'm not the one with years of bad service, you are.
I'm not the one on trial here, either. I've been patient with you knowing life gets busy. Here's a clue- don't cast stones in glass houses.

Oh and I found no links in my credit card page to withdraw my dispute. A dispute that I would not have had to file in the first place if I had contact, tracking numbers, etc., and if the package had been sent with Delivery Confirmation….. or even having that proof emailed to me in the very first place.
And I have all of the contact messages saved for my records…

I find this very sad. I know Capt Flash and he is a stand up guy, who was very interested in the Critter Commandos as a result of his seeing mine at HAVOC in April. I told him the figures were great, but that I had not ordered any because the one time I did (and another friend did), we had a similar challenge in getting the order fulfilled. We had a very difficult time in getting an answer as to the status of our orders, and both of us cancelled in frustration.

The very sad part is that the figures are awesome, and many from the recently deceased Steve Lortz. But when someone has a website with products to sell, and you get nothing – you only get frustrated. Our hobby does not need that. When delivery does not happen and just getting the status of orders is heavy lifting, well, what else would one reasonably expect.

I hope that Paul sells his lines to someone who can produce and deliver them. I will continue to search the internet for these figures, and show them off on my blog. I'm sure that there are many challenges that Paul has faced and is facing business wise. That's understandable. But bottom line, its sad, and I wish I could give Paul my business, but I have no faith in his ability or will to fulfill orders.

I had to have my credit card withdraw my payment after he failed to send my Figures and failed to communicate. Some months ago, I placed another small order to test the water after someone posted that he is back in business and delivering Figures. Nothing. Almost a year since his website charged my card. Nothing. He has a website that takes money, but he never delivers. This is at best incompetence and dishonesty.

As I said above, if you have a missing order, email me. If you have an order number, or can forward the ordering email, that helps. I'll fix it, one way or another.

It's easy for y'all to sit back and Monday Morning Quarterback all this. Were any of you aware of what's happened at this end over the last few years, you would have a different opinion. Until you walk a mile in my shoes, how about you just keep it to yourself.

That guy is a total thief Made $6,000 USD on two kickstarters and has not fulfilled them they were due in March and Feb 2013. And has not responded to anyone on kickstarter

The situation with the Kickstarters was unfortunate. As I mentioned, the last several years have been rough. I have lost track of the number of times I have almost been evicted, not even accounting for the health problems. I stopped responding on the KS forums because A) I was unable to make a specific commitment for the resolution of them due to the chaos I was living through and B) even if I had, people like this person spent an amazing amount of time shitposting at me. A lose-lose scenario. Especially when dealing with the other problems I've had. I believe I will (finally) be able to resolve those soon, but am honestly unwilling to say anything more until I have what I need in hand to do it. I don't need to give people *more* ammunition (like specific dates I don't hit) in their personal vendetta against me. But I have said before and will say again – those people will get what they paid for (if it is in the realm of possibility) or refunds as appropriate. That *will* happen. Y'all know where to find me. Email me if you had an order you did not receive (not the KSs, please). Email is above. Otherwise I will likely not post on this thread again.

Sorry - only verified members can post on the forums.
