In this first of a 2 parter, we talk about the Battle of Leros, and building the board we took to Salute. NSFW due to Anders Larsen's report writing…

Love the E boat. Has that look of battle worn weariness, but not to overdone.

wargamingUSA17 Apr 2018 11:26 a.m. PST

Fantastic looking effort all around. The E-boat is particularly equisite. Board has a great feel. Rafts bringing in the troops are the cherry on top. Hope it played well.

Thank you, the E Boat is the old Airfix one, and was a surprisingly very pleasant built.

Sadly we were too busy talking to people to get to play, but we're going to attempt to bring it back together for a game later in the year.

Simply stunning!
But a 'Runner Up' certificate? If the standard you've achieved is worthy of 'runner up' the winning game must have been mind blowing.
Well, your game is a winner in my eyes. Kudos.

My thoughts exactly. If this was the runner up what on Earth won it?

I'm assuming the ACW game with the ironclad and the Artillery Fort and the hundreds of figures fighting in the fields won.

if not…then who ? The ship and models for the attack on Zeebrugge were pretty impressive too.
