I am running several wargames campaigns in my Etinerra world, which hosts all of my AD&D/D&D games. It's been a fun way to explore my world, set some action into it that the players experience on different levels, and to allow me to play as well. The vast majority of my wargaming is solo play, with some convention/event games thrown in. The following blog post is a recap of two HOTT2/DBA3 games from this past weekend, plus some discussion of my campaign wargames rules, as influenced by Tony Bath's Setting Up a Wargames Campaign and William Silvester's The Solo Wargaming Guide. Sneak peeks at the minis pics:

Nice to see some more HOTT action this week. Great ideas, terrain and armies. I feel for you with the blades vs warband gamble. Your warbands won and mine lost this week. Very deadly combination. Thanks. |

Thanks, Kropotkin. It's not a fun combination at all. |
