"AoS demo game AAR, well mostly just pictures. " Topic

Well the battle report I was writing got deleted somehow. It was pretty good but after doing ing taxes all day today I can't be arsed to do it again.

It is a shame because I felt like it was one of my better ones and I had about 45 minutes into it.

The scenario was the one from Malign Portents where you set up two tables and the one side ambushes the other and tries to kill them and send them to the other table which is the realm of death and then kill them again.

The Tzeentch players should have been able to send a lot of guys over to the second table quickly except they failed the VAST majority of their summoning rolls for which they needed a 6 or better on 2D6.

That gaunt summoner got his ass canned after this battle.

It ended up being as close as you can imagine. The WarQueen died on the last turn of the game, the Gaunt summoner had about 6 brimstone horrors between him and a Bloodthirster with only two wounds on it.

The game looks unbalanced and too complex for a demo game

Nice, I might have to stop by up there some time. Not this month though, we are doing a big battle in Morgantown on the weekend of the 27th.

We are starting an Age of Sigmar campaign in June. It is going to be a narrative campaign using the Realm Gate Wars books. We have three players in for sure right now and I think we will probably have three others join.

We are going to run it every other week and have painting session in the off weeks.

We are going to play through the Realm Gate Wars books, or at least one of them.

Well no need to rush the taxes. You get tomorrow now as deadline. IRS efile server crashed in the AM hours. We lost a good story for no reason.

Aside from that; awesome pics. Figs and terrain are splendid. It would be something to game with you!

My wife was talking about visiting Pittsburgh. Maybe I could bring my AoS army up there if you guys are having an event or tournament.
