Hello peeps,
Big fan of PSCs Great War boardgame, and I'm after some of the British artillery. Buuuuut, PSC have sold out and are ‘unlikely to mould more' yes, I mailed them. Does anyone have some, I could buy off you? Or a link to any remaining stocks, lurking on an obscure site?

Many thanks for any help you can give.

Cheers

John

Wow. So does that mean the game is dead in the water as far as PSC are concerned.

probably discontinued. They have done this with at least one other board game after a year or so. Seems to be their business model. Board games are really secondary to their other lines of miniatures.

Would it be possible to use other 15mm WW1 British artillery such as Peter Pig or Battlefront models:

There are a couple of sellers on ebay with the tank expansion pieces. Perhaps they plan to have some other pieces listed too?

Strange as PSC had all the WW1 plastics bagged up at Salute on Saturday . The artillery were definitely there as I picked some up

There's a new version of the game coming out soon and the new Frenchies box. So not dead in the water. Don't know about artillery whether their redoing them as well but it's not in their kick starter. Tanks are but nowt artillery.

On the recent Kickstarter it included the reissued British and German armies in our new semi-hard plastic. The new plastic set will be available after the Kickstarter campaign at £19.50 GBP MSRP. It seemed to be limited to the infantry but it is not clear if that includes guns as well. The Kickstarter also had additional stretch goals achieved that added new "Special" personnel for the British and Germans including a new Officer figure. I would contact them directly and see if the guns are included in this new release.

BTW, the Kickstarter is set to ship in June of this year, based on their very recent update.

I had a mate ask at the PSC stand at Salute, and he was told they didn't bring any of the British artillery as they didn't have any left. And then reiterated that they weren't available any more. Maybe they will reissue them with the next Kickstarter, but, my email came back with a ‘not making them anymore' so, l don't know.

I imagine its a matter of economics. A run of the Brit artillery is going to have to produce a lot of sets to be economic and given they are an add on/replacement ( as I remember it) for the game components I imagine they reckon its not a cost thats going to get recouped.
Bound to be someone out there that has some they dont use Id have thought.
I know a few people with the game I'll ask around.
