Photos of our first ESR Napoleonics game at AdeptiCon 2018 using figures from our ESR Box Sets and buildings by Battlescale.

More photos of the game and a brief description of the action are available in our gallery.

You ran a convention demo game 15 turns in 2.5 hours! Sweet!

itchysama Our games at AdeptiCon all ran very fast this year. We normally schedule them for about 4 hours and they normally run about 3-3.5 hours (four player games, two corps vs two corps, no preset deployment, players march their troops onto the field). However, at AdeptiCon we ran three games and then longest was still under 3 hours. Very decisive players, and it helps that ESR runs fast.

Both your 15mm and 10mm games look awesome.

Thanks Doug!

One of the strengths of ESR is that the mechanics don't change at all when you use a different figure scale or ground scale, and we provide charts for a variety of scales so you don't have to worry about screwing the measurements up.

10mm is the way to go.Gives the right feel to Napoleonics for me, detail on 10mm figures is now great and the standard of some painters is same if not better than larger 15/20mm figures, large units on beautiful looking terrain, I am now without doubt a convert.
