Hi there, just to say that our 28mm scale Kickstarter for Halfling Character Classes is up and running at the moment and ends Sunday 21st of April at 1pm BST. If it's something you like and want to support us, that would be fantastic! link All the best Paul Midlam Miniatures |

With Gengisina Khanum and Sister Pancake I see great things from this Kickstarter! |

I like them, but if 28mm is six foot tall, then 22mm makes these halflings a little over 4 foot eight inches. Bandobras Bullroarer Took was 4 foot five inches and considered very tall. It took an Ent Draught to get a taller Hobbit. I know….Halflings, not Hobbits… |

I like them, but if 28mm is six foot tall, then 22mm makes these halflings a little over 4 foot eight inches. Assuming that "28 mm" is from soles of the feet to the eye level, then a human model likely measures closer to 30 mm when measured to the top of the head. Furthermore, if the humans actually measure six feet to the top of the head, then it is a fantasy world with very good levels of nutrition and healthcare. If we take as a comparison a model meauring 30 mm to the top of the head, and assume it to instead represent a person 1727 mm tall (or 6'8"), then a halfling model measuring 22 mm to the top of the head would be representing a person 1266 mm (4'2") tall. |
