Some 2 years ago I started a blog on the back of doing a project with the Saga rules for a demonstration game at Joy of Six using 6mm miniatures. It was very well received and since my 100th blogpost was coming up I thought I take the opportunity of doing one on Saga in 6mm again. This time with a reflection on the new version of the rules. I hope it is of some interest. More on the link here! rollaone.com/2018/03/22/saga-2nd-edition-in-6mm-age-of-vikings-twilight-of-the-thundergod

So one stand = one 28mm figure?

Thanks for the positive comments, I have to admit it is one of my projects I take out every now and then and just stare at the shields. With a few exceptions they are all individual and I tried to do different versions for each warband. I had great fun doing it and we enjoy the miniatures everytime we get them out.

Repaint – yes that is correct – one stand (25mm square) replaces one 28mm figure. I tend to play with them as a dense unit rather than leaving spaces between the figures (so that is kind of a change to the way it is played, but then this is not required) otherwise we play exactly as they were writtern.

It looks very good and makes much sense.
