I've just posted my full Show Report for yesterdays Salute Wargames Show at ExCel in London. Its a huge show and its fair to say that my feet ache 'just a little bit' today ! But i'm still exhilarated and I have spent a few hours sorting and labelling my pictures (600 h=of them!). A small selection have now been put up on my blog here SALUTE 2018

Thanks for the report; you boys on the other side of the pond really know how to do things right, I'm jealous but at the same time, kudos to whoever came up wit the concept.

Kick ass demo games to get people excited about the hobby, with every major trader in the UK and I'm assuming Europe in attendance to sell you what you need to recreate the games.

Also, the painting competition looks show stopping, well laid out and presented, again getting attendees excited about the possibilities of what their figures and such can look like.

Looks like a positive event filled with positive people, the intent of which is to grow and promote the hobby.

Again, kudos to whoever came up with the idea.

Wow, another great report. That is always an Eye Candy of a show. Loved the zombies invades show game. Somebody did one at one of the HMGS, Inc. shows a few years back. (Didn't get to go, had a daughter in high school sports at the time.) Thanks for the report and great photos.

Wonderful presentation and excellent photos!
Some really well presented games. A real showcase of our hobby. The attention to detail in some of the modelling is amazing. I shudder at the cost of some of the massive cornfields.

One question: what is the percentage of display vs participation games?
At our cons on the west coast of North America, they are all participation games.

There's a lot we could learn from Salute.

Just wondering, how much was breakfast ? Asking for a friend…
