Always thought this was really silly. One shot and the fancy war machine is out of action. It is a nice paint job.

It's stupid, of course, but it's supposed to be stupid.

It's an artifact of an anti-intellectual dark age. No not this anti-intellectual dark age, that other, fictional one.

It's supposed to be an artifact created by ignorant, superstitious fanatics in an age of madness.

So, I always feel it's one of the most iconic 40k bits. I'm not a huge 40k fan but I do feel it's consistent with the tone of the game.
