Just wondering if these are still available to purchase and from where? I have lots of vehicles for the '39 campaign, I just need the troops. Thanks! |

Wargames Foundry makes great Poles for 1939. |

I'm afraid that it'll be very difficult for you to find those minis. And if you find them, they'll be in a very bad shape. Nevertheless, Xan (from Xan Miniatures), the original sculptor of Fantassin/warmodelling miniatures, is planning on relaunching the old Fantassin/Warmodelling catalogue, with new modeled miniatures of better quality. Polish WWII are on the planning. So you have to wait. Itīll take some time. |

Excellent news, Emilio! Figman1, you may want to consider the Under Fire Poles in lieu of Xan's rereleases. However, it's its the original Warmodelling figures you want, I do believe Stonewall Figures stocks them. |

Thanks to all for the help! Those Under Fire Poles do look very nice. I'm guessing the only difference between the Westerplatte uniform and regular uniform would be the absence of a pack on the back and the naval officers? |

The Foundry 20mm range is limited, but are nicer sculpts than EWM and better cast than the legally/morally ropey Stonewall offerings (though that is a super low bar to clear…), so worth throwing into a mix. |

Greebs, fraid I'm not sure what the problem with Stonewall is? The Capitan Games website states very clearly that Stonewall is the exclusive stockist of the old Fantassin range. figman 1, for games with the Black Brigade (not sure what your preferred ruleset is, but for scenarios have a look at the relevant Skirmish Campaigns volume) FAA Miniatures and Shell Hole Scenics ough to set you right. |

There is a (to my knowledge ongoing, seemingly due to Capitan's lack of co-operation…) legal bruhaha in the Spanish courts over the legality of Capitan's claim to ownership of the range. There was a lengthy thread somewhere on the boards about it last year. |

Easy. Stonewall, has no permission or right to reproduce those thumbnails. Capitan Games and Stonewall, have a deserved reputation for having made pirated copies of many brands. In addition the molds that Stonewall has, is in a sorry state, you can only get horrible "metal" masses Because to know what alloy these people use with so few scruples. |

Hi Xan, do you have any time frame in mind for the re-release of these miniatures? |
Xan Miniatures | 17 Apr 2018 3:51 p.m. PST |
Unfortunately, I can not give timeframes. My health has not been good in recent years. It seems that problem ended, but there is a lot of work ahead. Finally, I also had to undergo surgery due to two hernias and I must be at rest one season. But I will return with more strength than ever and I must say that, at least half a dozen times, I have been about to take those Poles to improve them, add some poses and put them on the market. They will be really new minis. That could happen soon enough. I appreciate very much all the interest wath all of you put in my work and the great support that you have all given me, has been encouragement for me. Thank you. |

I would advise against getting any of the pirated Captain Games figures. I did (before knowing their status) and they are not pretty to look at. |
