Looking for a color image of a Russian Cossack horse artillery gunner for the Eylau-Friedland campaign. Can anyone help?

I have an image for them for 1812-14. Not sure if it applies for the earlier period.

Not sure about Eylau-Friendland but my library says that Cossack horse artillery was established formally in 1798-9 or so; the image I have is a chap in a short blue jacket and blue trousers, red strip down the trousers and red time on the jacket collars and cuff; black busby with red bag and white cords

Hope this helps!

Yes, that helps. I went with the pic I found which corresponds with what you are saying. In other words it doesn't sound like the 1812-14 "uniform" was that much different at all (if any) from the earlier period.

Thanks for your response.

Horse artillery companies has the same uniforms like usual cossak horse companies.

Before 1812 cossaks has old breed with the high collar mown in front. That's all differents.
