"Created by the same designers of the popular "Wings of Glory" and "Sails of Glory" game systems (Andrea Angiolino and Andrea Mainini), the Battlestar Galactica – Starship Battles game will be first presented to the public at Gen Con 2018 (August 2-5, Indianapolis). Release date has not been announced yet."

Looks like a fighter-vs-fighter game ala X-Wing. I'd be much more interested in a larger scale game ala Armada. |

Has potential to be a bit different from X-Wing. What I wonder is if they will have 'turn and bank' for the 70s ships and 'pivot and vector' for the 2000s ships. |

The designers said in an interview that the game will encompass the capitol ships as well. But yes I thought BSG lends itself more to fleet battles with a stand representing a squadron of fighters. |

Very interesting! I managed to get quite a few of the Hasbro fighters when they came out. I wonder if they will work with the game mechanics? |
