Some clever people turned DBA into a Big Battle game. Any equally clever people do this with Saga?

I'd like to have battles with 40-80 figures/10 units a side.

Yes, it works fine.
We play it as doubles – two players a side with 6 points each, with their own battle board (so 12 points a side).
So that's around the size you say. We did Hastings with Bretons/Normans vs Saxons/Anglo-Danes and it worked very well

Thanks for the reply, Dexter.

That's it: just doubling up? No extra tweaks?

Dexter Ward12 Apr 2018 7:08 a.m. PST

We didn't find any extra tweaks needed, no.
Saga also works well as 2 on 1 – one player with 10 points, vs two with 5 points, for instance.

Agreed we have played it 3vs3 and had a good time with it.
