link We're back ! Round 2 of our Op Compass Campaign sees the British running across a stationary Italian Column under repairs, as the game starts the race is on to escape. A thoroughly enjoyable game with a very close finish, early Desert is definitely where it's at. I have also done a seperate Resource Page to hold all the extra rules, links to previous games etc. Is it a Turkey Shoot or is this Old Italian Bird going to bite back ? Regards Ken

Very well done. Early desert war does have a lot to offer IMO and vehicles in the Caunter style look fantastic. Painting vehicles in the latter scheme may put some people off. I have just completed a Honey ( 15mm) in the Caunter scheme and found it easier than I thought. The next tanks should even be easier as I can use my test model instead of the charts as a guide. |

It was a great fun game, despite suffering the shame of having 2 Rolls Royces taken out by those pretend Italian tanks. Made a change for me to fight on the allied side, things will return to normal when the Afrika Korps arrive. |
