Steve and myself made a go with a Corp level game recreating the events of Sept 1813 most North sector. [where Bertrand with the IV Corps attacked Tauentzien ( IV Korps), who was supported by III Korps under Bulow]
We played with Empire V, with some modification to speed up play and for 1:20 LvL.
We being rusty with the rules, moved along slower than plan.
Figures are from my collection and are 15mm OG, BH and some BM.
Here is part I. link

Let me know what you find/identify as "the proxiies", as I ran-out of time to build troops for the schedule to complete part1….
We hope to finish the next weeks.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

I was interested to see you use a Deep Cut mat – have you reviewed this anywhere please as I am looking to get a new (big) cloth.

And game looks great. Thanks

Not sure what you are asking.
So hope this helps….
My mat is teddy bear fur in 3pcs of 5'x6' pcs joined together with the special tape from the clothing supply stores, such as JoAnn Fabrics.
I can play with table length of up to 15'.
I dyed in the greens (and still adding more color highlights with time).
I went with a shorter pile (<1/2") height since I am using 15s and not 28s.
This mat has seen 1 tour of Historicon2017 to date. It was in Room D with the Carnage and Glory Group of games.
