OK, now the painting truly was on a roll as I finished the second warrior unit on foot within two sittings. Next units will all be mounted and take some time as I have to assembly them (1 mounted warrior and 2 mounted hearth guards). I also have a standard bearer on foot from the plastic warriors kit, and am contemplating if I should use a large paper flag or stick with the small plastic banner attached to the banner pole. We also managed to play a game and try the new army out this evening: link

Terrific paint jobs and I like the look of round bases for mounted figures. I might have to do some re-basing myself… 40mm diameter? |

Nice painting, but unlike cae5ar I'm not a fan of round bases for mounted. They make it impossible to put the figures in any kind of close formation. Ovals or rectangles are much better IMO. |
