This device is maybe a bit of a gadget, but a fun one. You could produce your own acrylic paints with the exact tone you want. Could be bad news for hobby paint makers, but good news for your storage space, no more need to store so much paints. link |

It appears to produce very thin colours, I'd see very few modelling applications. Add to that it is very expensive $129 USD for 10 pots of paint !!! |

It did say refills are $30 USD with shipping including – it did not say how much paint you can expect from the refill kit. Looks to me like a solution looking for a problem. |

Given the vast number of colors that are currently available from commercial paint companies, I've never had a need for some special mix color. Well, maybe not never, but I've been able to mix in small amounts of what I have needed from those commercial paints. |

Looks like a product more for graphic artists than for miniature painters. And like Bobgnar said above, it's hard to think of a color that isn't already commercially available. |

I just use a wet palette. The KS shows paint pens, which, of course, unlike miniature paints you can't mix. So, sure, any artist who uses paint pens would be a good match for this sort of product. |
