I've finally posted some pictures of the Mitanni army I finished at the end of last year. They were a major power at the time of the Hittites and New Kingdom Egyptians.

Very nice work. I can see a serious "rules lawyer" giving you a hard time about the facing of the chariots though.

Thanks. Here's a picture of how the chariots look in combat:

Most are facing forward, but one forward on the left has turned to face the enemy chariots coming along the line.

The simple answer is to paint dots on the base edge of the front. Discreet but easy to identify and only a couple of minutes work. Especially as the base edging is black rather than the same colour as the actual base.
