Lincome Barn Wargames Society in Bristol UK is hosting its next Table Top Sale on Sunday 20/5/18 Once again we should have 40 + tables of gaming goodies up for grabs. This year's event is being organised by Carole. Her e-mail is molly.moggins@gmail.com Tables are now available at £10.00 GBP each [must be pre-booked] but are going fast so if you want a space please get in touch with Carole. The event is open for buyers from 10.00 – 12.30 & public entry is £2.00 GBP If you want to get in earlier than we do an ‘early bird' ticket for £4.00 GBP which gets you in from 9.30 Parking & hot food will be available throughout. Please note that there is not a B&B at this event Please feel free to stay on after the sale closes. Tables will be available for gaming – so you can try out the army you have just bought! Although we can supply some scenery & cloths, please bring what you feel you may need. Just a quick reminder that this is happening on Sunday. We're fully booked with 40 tables of bargains, hot & cold food and drinks plus if anyone wants to stay for the afternoon there will be a gaming session. If you're trading then the doors will open at 8.00a.m |

so this is not a show, per se, but just a table sale. Interesting. Wonder if, if successful, the idea will catch on across the UK. Perhaps you could do an after action report please? Marc |

Hi Marc, we have been running these since 2004 & yes they are quite successful! We have space for about 40 tables & for the last 5 years or so they have all been taken with a reserve list waiting. We normally get about 100 paying visitors with probably another 100 in the Hall from our members & the sellers – who of course are also looking to spend. Some traders but they are there incognito selling off old or surplus stock or even there own surplus collections. There are a few other sales & I think the one organised by Ryan McKnight in Penkridge is now a good healthy annual event each January. They are good fun & the emphasis is on pile it high & sell it cheap! |
