On April 2, 2018, Amarillo Design Bureau completed its 11th wave of ships (48 in all, for nearly 700 available ships) in its shop on Shapeways.
The Federation gains its Strike Carrier in both the "regular" and "Fed Classic" (started in response to requests for smooth saucers) versions.
The Klingons aren't neglected. They get their D7VB Strike Carrier and D7VK Refitted Strike Carrier.
The Romulans add the OmniHawk Light Dreadnought, OmniHawk+ Light Dreadnought, Shrike Light Dreadnought, KRC Command Cruiser (obvious changes include a belly bird, scallops on the wings, and Romulan insignia), and KRC Command Cruiser (smooth, with no belly bird, no scallops on the wings, and no Romulan insignia for easier application of decals). The "+" indicates it is a late-war design in the style of the Starline 2500 Romulan ships.
The Gorns get their Compsognathus Frigate, Compsognathus+ Frigate (refitted), Compsognathus-B Battle Frigate, and Compsognathus-B+ Battle Frigate(refitted).
The Kzintis get their Battle Frigate.
The Juggernaut fleet was built in another galaxy and sent to check us out. The Juggernaut Frigate is the smallest of the ships that were built that Milky Way residents have documented to this point.
The Lyrans and their wayward county of the Lyran Democratic Republic get their Cave Lion Battleship. The Lyrans also get their refitted Leopard Destroyer and Panther Light Cruiser in 3788 Scale.
The Hydrans gain their Escort Lancer, Outrider Survey Ship, and Uhlan Patrol Carrier.
The Space Amoeba makes its appearance. The small Space Amoeba is about 2"; the medium Space Amoeba is about 4"; the large Space Amoeba is about 6".
Empires from the Omega Octant continue to have new additions. The Bolosco Merchant Guilds are introduced with their Merchant Cruiser and Exchanger, which is their frigate-sized ship.
Don't forget our nine April 1 ships! The Gorn Bubble Dreadnought (both regular and refitted) was too big for the shipyards unless tugs or light tactical transports were used to move the bubbles around. Add to that it had too many places where it could break and it remains a dream. The WYN Auxiliary Heavy Mauler was a myth (or is it?) perpetuated by the WYNs. It would certainly put a dampener on an intruder's day. The Kzinti Tri-Maran earned its designer a quick execution for suggesting the Lyrans might have had a cool idea to be copied. The Tholian Crown of Tholia was deemed far too expensive in parts to build. One large, unwieldy ship isn't necessarily better than the five ships that could be assembled from the same parts.
