Does anyone make 28mm Irish, for the period of 1580's to 1603 or so.

Old Glory makes some Kern in their War of the Roses range. Vendel had some nice figures but sadly they are out of business.

Steve Barber makes some 28mm Gallowglas link

So does Timeline Miniatures link

As does Royal Lion Miniatures royallionminiatures.blogspot.com

You might be able to use some of the Islemen/Highlanders from Elite Miniatures link

Redoubt Miniatures has both Gallowglas and Kerns link

Warrior Miniatures has a range of large 25mm Border Reivers link

Essex has an Irish Kern link

Irregular has some 28mm Scottish Highlanders, include a musketeer link

You might want to check companies that have either a War of the Roses line, an ECW, or even a 1745 line. You can often find Irish or other suitable figures in those lines too.

Happy hunting.

I would also check out the kern and gallowglas in the Perry WOTR range. Some of the nicest examples out there IMO.
Very few companies make pike armed kern, which were appearing in the forces of Irish lords at this time. Hoka Hey have some good examples, otherwise Flodden era Scots could be useful.

Those Perry Kerns and Gallowglas are very nice. SO are those from Elite Miniatures and Timeline. Do they all mix well in terms of proportions?

I wonder if some of these Crusader Miniatures Irish also qualify?
