Battle for Terra?

I'll check it out.

Dan
EDIT – Haywire, thanks! Those look like they were indeed the creatures. I don't understand why the alien planet was called Terra though, unless … we took over their world thousands of years ago and are living in it now, and our history isn't really ours?

An anime that broadcast a few seasons back called "Clione no Akari" featured those sea creatures, but it had nothing to do with science fiction.

If I recall correctly, it was a drama about a sickly girl that is being bullied in her school. She is befriended by a couple of other students, but they don't have the guts to openly defend her, but instead meet at an aquarium where the trio see the clione swimming in a tank. The three of them buy little figurines of the clione to mark their secret alliance. Then the sickly girl goes back into the hospital and dies. Typical of Japan, it was written to be as heart-wrenching as possible. Hahahaha.

Are you thinking of Star Wars: Rebels season 3, where AP-5 is lost in space and happily hallucinates? (Double Agent Droid, episode 19)

Looks kind of like EVE from Wall-E. Sorry, no pic.

I guess I might finally watch Wall-E someday.

That Terra movie is the one I recall, though I only saw previews or just some random clips.
