Been wrestling with the thorny issue of basing, not a fan of sabots and want units I can use for both Black Powder and Sharp Practice, bit of a write up on the blog about it

I based mine individually, but I'm aiming at skirmish gaming.

I based these with Sarissa bases so that I could use them for Black Powder and also Tomahawks and Muskets

Thanks but I am not a fan of the round bases added to sabots. I want my bases to be mini vignettes if I can with broken drums and wheels, discarded packs etc and logs poking out from under the snow. The sabots dont allow for that despite being a clever system.
