I am looking for at least 3 Japanese D3A Val dive bombers in 1:144 scale. All the kits as well as the FPlanes seem rather elusive. Does anyone have any advice? |

I hadn't noticed the Creations Chaubet one. That's good to know about. Not much on eBay: auction I had this same problem, but I never solved it satisfactorily, so I gave up and switched to 1/200 scale instead. :-) I wish you better luck. - Ix |

I can 3D print them in that scale, there is a file I can convert in my CAD library. Let me know if you are interested. |

Am away from the studio for a bit but think I have several kits. |

I have eight ARII kits. Still in the box. I can look through a started-but-not-completed area and see if there's another, partially built one there. If you need decals beyond what's in the boxes, I could help there too. I'll send an e-mail to you. Kevin |

There is also a reasonably nice looking 1/100 Val on Shapeways: link This designer also makes a separate canopy for this model, which you can get in clear materials: link I have gotten a couple Shapeways designers to rescale models on request, so you might try that. Most designers don't respond to my requests at all, but it can't hurt to ask. - Ix PS: But having Kevin build some Arii kits for you is an even easier option. |
