I am back to eyeballing Flintloque's mass-combat sister ruleset. I know that, say, infantry units are typically packaged twenty-strong, but how do the rules handle this? Is there casualty removal? And how does anyone here build their regiments and squadrons? |

HI Yes they are, its a good set of rules, and can handle BIG games (we once had 18 divisions) Jules |

I love Slaughterloo, cracking set of rules and great fun.I build my regiments along the lines in the rules, but 20 is a full strength unit and not all regiments have to be at full strength. For lights I usually have 12 figure units, for line anything from 15-20 men units. Cavalry squadrons 6-10. I like the idea of battle weary units not at a full strength but battling on until reinforcements arrive. Go for it as it is really good fun to play. |

Thank you, Jambo1. I'm thinking I will have to do a bit more bathtubbed version, as I doubt I work ever field a formed unit of foot larger than fourteen. I will put in some more work in April, maybe finish off six or eight sections, and pick up the rules then. Maybe cash in on AA's current offer as a reward for getting some minis finished. |

does slaughterloo have mages? Not too much magic in Slaughterloo at all Jim, no mages to speak off. |
