Just something Ive been playing with
British Commando in the denison with Bergen

think it will also work for British Glider troops as some of them seem to have had the bergen

thinking about doing the Glider types for Brits and US as they dont seem to get the same attention as the Para types which given their fighting record seems a little unfair.

Only issue is the Thompson for Glider pilots.

Not issued much to British Airborne.

Looks ace as a Commando though!

Hello Piers,
Sorry loose terminology on my part meant Air Landing infantry units rather than Glider pilots.

I will gave all of these when they come out , so get casting mate . Lol

Leon,

Air Landing infantry had MKIV Stens.

Any Thompsons issued to airborne units in 42/43 seem to have been removed entirely by 44.

Thanks Piers.
The Thompson guys will be in the Officer/NCO pack for the Commandos the 'normal' NCO's will have stens and the rest Enfields of course so people should be able customise ok.
Though personally I wouldnt be able to resist a few Thompson 'private weapon' types in the Air Landing lol I do love a Thompson.
Might do some versions in the para helmet if sales justify it.

TBH, he looks far better than a lot of 28s. Looking at the Warlord figures here….

Leon, will these be appearing on your website soon and will there be more of your 'normal' British appearing soon?

As a 1/72 fan, i would say that 9 times out of ten the 1/72 or 20mm stuff is better than the 28s – less cartoonish

Yup. Plus of course Leon is an excellent sculptor

Bindon Blood,
Thank, glad you like figure.
Its purely a tryout to see what it looked like in the flesh and to get an idea if there was a market for a range, no decsion made yet.
British 2" and PIATS are just about done and that will finish off the basic late Brits for the moment. Hope for release in May. More US Paras in the works as well.
28's Im afraid seem on the whole to be 'Orc meets Band of Brothers' with notable exceptions like Paul Hicks who is doing some stellar work at the moment.

That's good news Leon, I'll keep my eyes open for those. Especially as it'll give my credit card a chance to recover after Salute before getting the lot.

Just been looking at the AB versions of the windsmock British. I have to say, I much prefer the look of the Adler ones…this is of course only my opinion and I would not want to offend anyone whose views differ..you are entitled to them.
