There seems to be a plethora of music related polls running at the moment. I'll throw out a suggestion with a little twist. One Album Wonders: Rules- 1 – Only groups that made one studio album. 2 – One of a kind solo album (side project) by a single group member or a combination of members of various groups. 3 – No live albums. 4 – No posthumous, remix or compilation releases. I'll start with two of my favorites; Toy Matinee – Toy Matinee YouTube link David & David – Welcome To The Boomtown YouTube link |

Holy crap on a cracker. I hit submit and my screen flickered, froze up and a duplicate message appeared. Duplicate indeed. I have been super-bugged. Edit: Not sure what is going on. When I hit my "Back" button the page refreshes instead of going back to the previous page. |

I was going to nominate "This is Spinal Tap", but I just discovered that they actually made a second album. Who would have thought. |

Winston- Toy Matinee actually has 49 votes if you count the 7 different threads that each have 7 votes. Let me know if you are starting any new polls. I'll be happy to stop by to vote early and often. |

That's the in-joke. The Wilburys had a Vol 1 and a Vol 3. But never a Vol 2. So they never had a second album. |

Manitoba's Wild Kingdom album …And You?(featuring Ross the Boss from ManoWar and Handsome Dick Manitoba) Manitoba's Wild Kingdom were a heavy metal and punk rock band based in New York City. They are perhaps most notable for consisting, in part, of members of the New York punk band The Dictators and for being one of the very few musical groups Sandy Pearlman ever signed to his short-lived record label, Popular Metaphysics. They were formed in 1986, and most recently performed in 2008. |
