Finishing up a project, I got to wondering if you have painted up any figure representing someone who was, or would become, President of the U.S. If so, which ones? I have Ulysses S. Grant in mind and I am aware that there are figures representing: Trump Washington Andrew Jackson? Eisenhower? Teddy Roosevelt For polling purposes the question should be: Which of the following do you have painted up? |

I've painted Washington a number of times now. I don't know how many, at least 5 I would guess. I don't think I've done any of the others, including Grant. |

Washington in 25mm, Eisenhower in 54mm & I think that's it. If I tried the so-called current one, my brushes, every one of them, would burst into flames… |

Used to have a Marx "White House" model with figures of all the POTUSes up to Nixon or Ford. Coolidge in a straw boater hat. |

I believe that I still own a RoCo Eisenhower, along with Stalin, Churchill, and De Gaulle, and an Atlantic (or maybe ESCI Mao). All are in 1/72 scale. I've never painted any of them. |

James Madison for Bladensburg. |

James Monroe (Secretary of War then, future President), also for Bladensburg – in which battle he took an active (and less than useful) part. Also Washington and TR. |

I have the Old Glory Madison for Bladensburg. They make a great Jackson figure too, and a decent William Henry Harrison. I also have a couple of different Washingtons. |

Ya – there are a few Lincoln's out there. OG15s for one. |
Ed Mohrmann | 26 Mar 2018 3:42 p.m. PST |
Washington, Grant and TR, all in their 'General' roles (Well, Colonel for TR). |
robert piepenbrink | 26 Mar 2018 3:45 p.m. PST |
Hmm. Certainly a Washington or so. I think a Grant or two. There really should be a Jackson. I may need to speak to Old Glory. |

Not yet, but someday a Steampunk Grant would be in order. Maybe a Colonel Washington. |

I was on a Grover Cleveland kick a few years ago and somehow ended up with 7 of them in 4 different scales. |
