There are not any US companies that sells Baccus 6mm figures without paying $8.00 USD in postage?

Not that I know of. I don't think $8 USD USD is very bad at all. A lot cheaper than shipping from the UK. You gotta pay to play, and (most) Baccus are worth it, in my opinion. I can't think of a cheaper way to build an army.

The postage is not much more than getting it from the US, 6mm is pretty cheap to ship. I have a lot of experience ordering from Peter and his turn around is pretty fast.

Nope.

Isn't their shipping based on a flat percentage of the order?

25% last time I checked (with a minimum per shipment). I always liked buying figs directly from the UK to the US since the percentage of order cost made it easy to figure out shipping. Although US companies with a flat shipping rate are good too. The ones that have a variable rate that goes up by a LOT at certain price points or package sizes are the ones I avoid.

I suggest you take a visit to USPS.com or to the local post to see the current rates.

The $8.00 USD postage was from a shop in San Fran than had limited Baccus but charge a flat $800 USD to ship. Not from Baccus its self.
