I've been looking around for some side by side comparisons of the two, but can't find any?

Anyone done a good side by side review? I have found individual reviews of each, but nothing that looks at them together.

I was initially turned off by the new BF plastics (love their WWII plastics, prefer them over PSC). I had resolved to move to PSC for my Team Yankee stuff…but upon getting an American Humvee unit, and seeing some of the new plastic figs that came with that set, I felt they were better than I was expecting, given the amount of trashing their new plastics have received online.

Anyone seen a side by side review or own both and can comment on one versus the other? What's your preference between the two?

Thanks for any guidance!

WW2, or modern?

WW2 Soviets were the first infantry set of PSC, and they learned a lot from it. In this case I would advise you to go for Battlefront. For LW Germans or British I see no difference in quality (I have all these sets from both companys.

No idea on modern, though…

Modern – specifically the Cold War Soviets.

My Humvee had metal figures…

I have some meltyman (U.S. artillery crew) and PSC's Soviet infantry. Not sure how much size difference exist within BF but they are noticeably bigger than PSC's figures. I can post a shot in a few hours when I get home.
Preference-wise? I don't like PSC's offering and here are my reasons.
(1) This is a no-brainer: PSC models don't come with bases! Really? Oh and PSC's own base pack don't have enough small/large bases in one set for the models.
(2) While both BF and PSC's plastic range offer a similar amount of pose counts, BF's models have a much bigger pose variety (as they were not sculpted from four diferent body types that PSC stuck with).
(3) If you want to use these models for Team Yankee, there is actually not enough heavy weapons for the attachment.
(4) While PSC's kit comes with a few SVD models, it doesn't have things like RPG-18, radio, or at least a RPG-7 ammo pouch to flush out some figures.

It might be good for Northag, but I'm sticking with BF's infantry for the foreseeable future.
