I have used real wood barrels from craft stores. They are in bags in the wood section of Michaels and Hobby Lobby. There three sizes I think. Very reasonable this way. I stained mine and then painted the metal bands. |

John, These guys make excellent stuff. Crisp, clean castings. Shipping was cheaper than you would think. Mine was a 75 dollar order and the shipping was 10 bucks, which is very reasonable. Even cheaper if you split an order with Roger or someone. I bought a load of Pirate accessories and I'll be ordering again. Look at the sellers other items for sale to see the whole catalog. auction They automatically combine shipping when you buy more items and send you a bill before you pay so you know up front how much shipping costs |

I'm sure all the recommended cast products are wonderful, but if it's about price and flexibility, go with Princeman, John. Compared to other media, these are almost free, and come in 1/2", 3/4", and 1" sizes of square boxes and round barrels. The largest work perfectly for 54mm games, and the 1/2" are just the ticket for 28mm. To get an idea of what you can do with them, just follow this link and scroll down just a bit to the first photo showing 1/2" boxes I've added liquor labels to. TVAG |

I want a lot for when Lord Dunmore's Ethiopians raid Mister Randolph's tobacco farm. |
