It is rather long and boring… but if you have the time… please check it out. Yes, it is a little biased in some areas, but aren't we all? This was the show from my eyes. frombrushtiptoaar.blogspot.ca |

I found it to be a solid read (not just because you noted my U-Boat game either). It's nice to have the perspective of a staff volunteer. Also another plug for all the HMGS staff as I decided to "un-cancel" a Saturday evening running of my game, and the help I received to find a spot for it was top notch. |

Dan I just wanted to thank you for a great con and for being very good about moving my game so that I could play in a tournament. The Heritage room was great and I would happily run another game there. |

The picnic ants GM ran a later adult version with beer vice candy as the reward. |

Dang it… I missed the beer one? I need to add in the post.. this is my opinion, not to be reflected by anyone of HMGS.. this is me, my blog, my precious…. |

Great post! And I agree, it was a successful con in many ways. Looking forward to working Events desk and running games at Historicon. |

I enjoyed the con, and I think the Host is really trying to step up their game. My ONLY quibble is that they didn't start serving breakfast until 0900, which is when my games started on Friday and Saturday. In the past they have been open a little earlier so I could get the breakfast before my game was supposed to start. Great work by the convention staff. |

9 AM start for breakfast is way too late. After all, do they we're all on vacation here? :-) |

Thanks for the report, and the mention… we've got a few more bodies being sculpted as we speak, and we will be at Little Wars and a few other smaller cons before Historicon, so maybe you can get yourself on the tabletop sooner rather than later!:) |

I had breakfast both Friday and Saturday earlier than 9:00. I'm not certain of the time, but I doubt that it was any later than 7:30. Both days there were people eating there when I arrived. Tom |

Looks like a fun time. Wish I had been able to stay. Learned a very important lesson to not neglect regular medical exams or you could end up in the hospital. Spent Friday night and part of Saturday in Lancaster General. It isn't too far from the Convention Center for Historicon 2019. You do have to pay for parking, unless you are a patient. Feeling better now but will see what the next doctor says. |

pvi99th, we were sad to hear about your medical emergency and also that you had to cancel your GM plans for the convention. Hope you get a good word from the "next doctor"! |
