A long-overdue post with lots of pictures of two games I ran:

Very good reports and scenery. Do the two rules have different flavours as to how they play and if you had to choose, which would come out on top?

They do have a different feel. There are some similarities in style because the authors are the same. DWMG is the older set and tied to the Doctor Who background. It works well for smaller games and 2-player scenarios based on he show. I have used it for some large battles. The rules and a lot of scenarios are still available on the 'Doctor Who Miniatures Game Fan Group' Facebook page.

7TV is a further development of the rule concepts from DWMG and is very flexible in terms of setting. I have seen it used for James Bond-style spy games, Stargate sci-fi games and lots in between. The Crooked Dice website has a section where you can create your own cards for the game which is pretty cool.

I tend to play more 7TV currently, sometimes with Doctor Who-based forces. Both games are fun!

Another difference is the absence of a points system in DWMG and the use of one in 7TV.

Many thanks. if you played the same game with the two sets of rules, do you think there would be much difference in the outcome?

Nice looking tables and figures.

I'm not sure how defenseless the skater was. There have been a number of assaults by skaters using their skateboards as weapons and in other ways:
