Other than Hasslefree, Crooked Dice Infinity or Heresy what normal sized human figures are out there? I don't like the steroid enhanced stuff by GW and their imitators, and would prefer non-armoured figs for small skirmish games to go with the Antenocenti vehicles. Cheers Stephen |

Spectre and Empress look like normal people. Spectre is more modern-ultramodern and Empress has some sci-fi guys in their Zombie range, can't recall the name. |

For realistically proportioned near future types with reasonably sized weapons, there is also the Future War series from Copplestone Castings. Some (but not all) of the female figures can be a bit scantily clad, however. |

Diehard miniatures--small selection but the proportions are not crazy |

Some of mantics stuff is well proportioned- I got a bunch of their plastic infantry and theyre pretty tall but quite slender compared to 40k stuff. |

I-Kore is good if you can find it. Generally they work with other manufacturers like Hasslefree. But they are closer to 25mm than to 28mm. If you are using Infinity they might look too small. IF you are looking for that larger scale that Infinity is in, Hydra miniatures has some really cool Galacteers sci-fi figures. |

I'm really impressed by Eureka's modern line. I have the US Marines, Force Recon, Navy SEALS, French Foreign Legion, Rhodesian Army, Soviets in Afghanistan, Brits in Aden and Soviet NBC troops… They're all great. |
